Rules for free parking in Indy
Free parking every Sunday
Metered spots that cost money every other day of the week are free on Sundays.
Free overnight parking between 11 PM and 7 AM
If you find yourself downtown after a concert and need to leave your car, park for free at metered spaces between 11 PM and 7 AM. The city updated this rule in January 2019, so if you’re used to parking free after 9 PM those days are over.
